Soriano i Piqueras opens new office in Palma

Valencian lawyer Víctor Soriano, who previously worked at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo before founding Soriano i Piqueras, is expanding his firm with the opening of a new office in Palma at the end of February. The firm, which already has offices in Valencia and Madrid, is launching in Palma as part of its strategy to strengthen its presence in the high-end real estate sector.

Soriano has been at the center of high-profile legal battles, including representing the popular prosecution in the case against Spain’s Attorney General over leaks involving the partner of Madrid’s regional president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, and defending Italian footballer Marco Borriello in an urban planning case regarding his Ibiza villa. His firm has also handled major cases such as the multi-million euro fraud involving the Madeira Invest Club, legal disputes against the Valencia and Madrid city councils on behalf of short-term rental property owners, and the legal battle to prevent the demolition of the Gemelos 28 skyscrapers in Benidorm.

“Víctor Soriano is one of the top lawyers in administrative law and regulatory criminal law,” says Enrique Enguix, consultant and partner at the firm.

“My goal is to focus on legal and technical work, which is why I rely on an excellent team to consolidate our presence in Valencia, Madrid, and now the Balearic Islands,” says Soriano, who is already well known in the region for his involvement in key projects, including the construction of Ibiza’s largest luxury hotel.

“This new office is not about increasing volume but about being closer to the type of clients that interest us most,” the firm states. The Palma office will open in the coming days in a prime location on the renowned Via Sindicat in the city center.
