SLCM instructed on sale of Mellopark’s stake in Empark

Lisbon law firm Serra Lopes, Cortes Martins & Associados (SLCM) advised Mellopark on the sale of its minority stake in Empark to Spain’s ASSIP, Asesoría y Estudios de Mercado and Portuguese infrastructure fund ESIF I.

The transaction took place due to the exercise of a right of preference on the part of the buyers.

Empark is a car parking business with operations in 174 cities in Spain, Portugal, the UK, Andorra and Turkey. It manages more than 500,000 parking spaces.

The SCLM team was led by partner Rafael Lucas Pires, and included associate Alexandra Martins.
