Sherpa Capital acquires a majority interest in EQOfluids: Advisors
Sherpa Capital has acquired a 75% majority stake in EQOfluids, a leading Valencian company in the design and commercialization of modular aluminum piping systems for compressed air and other fluids.
EQOfluids, founded in 2011 in Gandía (Valencia) has established itself as a benchmark in the sector thanks to its innovative solutions for the distribution of compressed air and other fluids. The company has subsidiaries in France, Italy, United Kingdom and India, and distribution in more than 60 countries. With more than 5,000 projects completed worldwide, EQOfluids has proven its ability to offer efficient, cost-saving solutions.
At the same time, it has a team of 29 people, including four sales offices. The company has developed a differentiated portfolio with patents registered in different countries, as well as proprietary software for facility design.
As part of the transaction, Sherpa Capital has agreed to acquire distributors in Italy, France and a commercial portfolio in Spain in order to strengthen the global commercial strategy, diversify the customer base and accelerate growth.

KPMG Abogados has advised Sherpa Capital with a team formed by Ignasi Font (M&A Tax partner), Luis Gómez Angelats (legal partner) e Iñaki Olmos (director in the Labor area).
Cuatrecasas has also provided legal counsel to Sherpa, with lawyers from both the corporate and finance teams. The corporate team included Ignacio Escrivá de Romaní (partner), Sora Park (senior associate), Sofia Lluch (pricipal associate), and Isabel María von Plettenberg (junior associate), while the finance team was represented by Agustí Cerdá (partner) and Álvaro Pérez-Iriondo (associate).
