Selier Appoints José María Cabrales as Managing Partner

Selier Abogados is pressing ahead with its reinforcement plan. Led by Pilar Jaquete, the firm is bringing on board José María Cabrales, formerly of Vaciero, as the new managing partner of the Corporate Law department. With this strategic hire, the Madrid-based firm strengthens its Corporate Law division, which it deems crucial, propelling the consolidation and expansion of the practice. Over the past few months, Selier Abogados has embarked on a growth strategy across various practice areas.

Cabrales holds a Law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid, complemented by master’s degrees and certifications from the Center for Studies of the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid and the Instituto de Empresa (IE). With over three decades of experience in diverse business sectors, he has provided extensive legal counsel to various companies, both listed and unlisted, national and international, in areas such as Corporate Law, Civil Law, and litigation related to corporate matters.

Having spent the last two and a half years as a partner in Corporate and Litigation at Vaciero, and with a professional history that includes founding and leading Roscab Legal Advisers for over 15 years, Cabrales brings a wealth of expertise to his new role at Selier Abogados.
