Sánchez appoints Pilar Llop Minister of Justice

Pilar Llop is the new Minister of Justice, replacing Juan Carlos Campo

 

The new socialist Minister holds a degree in Law from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and is a magistrate judge. In 1999, Pilar Llop (pictured) entered the judicial career by free rotation and was promoted to magistrate in 2004. Between 2011 and 2015, she was a lawyer in the Technical Office of the General Council of the Judiciary, where she was head of the Domestic and Gender Violence Observatory Section, secretary of the Equality Commission, secretary of the Justice and Disability Forum, and secretary of the CGPJ Steering Committee.
