Sagardoy Abogados launches Labour Inspection Advisory Unit

In response to the growing intensity of labour inspection actions across all employment sectors, leading Spanish law firm Sagardoy Abogados has launched a new service dedicated exclusively to comprehensive advisory on labour inspections.

This new practice area will be led by Jorge Travesedo Dasí (pictured), a partner at the firm and a former Labour Inspector currently on leave from public service. Prior to joining Sagardoy, Travesedo served as Chief Regional Director of the Labour and Social Security Inspectorate in Madrid.

He will be joined by fellow partner Gonzalo Mairata, a former State Attorney also on leave, and by Luis Pérez Capitán, recently incorporated into the firm. Pérez Capitán brings significant experience from both public administration and the private sector as another inspector on leave.

As explained by managing partner Martín Godino, this new unit comes at a crucial time for companies: “Businesses need highly technical legal advice and robust defence of their rights when facing labour inspections, especially in today’s increasingly complex regulatory environment.”
