RSN Advogados supports Joyson Electronics’ Hong Kong IPO
RSN Advogados advised Ningbo Joyson Electronic on the Portuguese component of its initial public offering (IPO) and listing on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX), providing legal support in the due diligence of the group’s Portuguese subsidiary.
Joyson Electronics is a global automotive technology group supplying components, from automotive safety solutions to automotive electronics, including smart solutions, e-mobility solutions, cockpit components, and charging and power distribution systems for electric vehicles. The transaction marked Joyson Electronics’ entry into the Hong Kong capital market, with total proceeds amounting to approximately US$ 439 million.
As local counsel, RSN Advogados oversaw the legal and regulatory review of the Portuguese subsidiary. The team on the deal comprised founding partner José A. Nogueira, head of tax law Pedro José Santos, and lawyer Flávia Remelgado (all pictured from left to right).
