RSM advises JG Ingenieros on sale to EC Partners
RSM has advised the shareholders of JG Ingenieros on the firm’s acquisition by EC Partners Spanish Bidco, a transaction that further consolidates a multi-specialist engineering platform backed by European private capital in Spain. The deal follows EC Partners’ prior investments in Incosa and Quinto Armónico, and is designed to strengthen the group’s presence in high-value segments including advanced building design, hospitals, research centres, critical infrastructure, and data centres.
The acquisition is underpinned by an investment thesis centred on building a multi-specialist engineering platform capable of combining scale, technical specialisation, and sustainable growth. The capabilities, client bases, and markets of the combined entities are considered complementary, reinforcing the group’s position. JG Ingenieros’ management team will remain involved in the project, and certain shareholders will reinvest a portion of the proceeds, aligning their interests with the group’s long-term development.
