Rocío Martínez joins M&B Abogados as Senior Associate
Franco-Spanish business law firm M&B Avocats / M&B Abogados has appointed Rocío Martínez as Senior Associate at its Barcelona office. Her arrival marks a strategic step in the continued expansion of the firm’s mergers and acquisitions (M&A) practice.
Rocío Martínez joins the firm with over a decade of in-house legal experience at CUPA GROUP, a multinational corporation comprising 75 companies, including Cupa Pizarras, the world leader in natural slate. The group operates 30 quarries, has subsidiaries in 9 countries, and exports to more than 70 international markets.
As former Group Legal Director, Martínez gained extensive expertise in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including mergers, spin-offs, asset and share deals, and corporate restructurings. Her track record includes drafting and managing key legal documentation such as letters of intent (LOIs), due diligence reports, share purchase agreements (SPAs), and legal guarantees. She also brings strong experience in corporate governance and commercial contracts, including agency, distribution, supply, sales, and financial leasing agreements.
Martínez’s addition aligns with M&B’s growth strategy to consolidate its position as a leading advisor on cross-border Franco-Spanish transactions, with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises.
