RocaJunyent hires María José Sánchez as partner
RocaJunyent has hired María José Sánchez (pictured) as a partner to strengthen its labour law practice.
Sánchez joins with a team of three lawyers: Pere Vidal, Aleix Bujaldón and Susanna Abad. With these additions, the firm’s labour team now has three partners and twelve lawyers.
RocaJunyent’s new partner holds a degree in law from the University of Sevilla, and specialised studies in EU Law at the University of Pau (France). She also holds a master’s degree in corporate legal consultancy from the Instituto de Empresa and an Executive MBA from ESADE. In the academic field, she is a collaborating lecturer at the Centro de Estudios Financieros (CEF) in Barcelona.
With more than 20 years of experience, María José Sánchez joins the Barcelona office, having developed her professional career in firms such as Clifford Chance and Landwell-PwC Tax & Legal. Since 2017, she has been a partner at Augusta, where she has advised on all types of labour matters, both in national and international companies.
She also has solid experience in litigation before the labour courts, restructuring processes, collective bargaining and strategic labour advice.
