RocaJunyent advises on Aimentia HelthTech´s investment round
RocaJunyent has advised Aimentia HealthTech, the startup that has promoted a platform with artificial intelligence (AI) to identify people who suffer from a mental health problem and are in a possible situation of risk, in an investment round of 500,000 euros.
The advice has been led by Xavier Foz (partner), Jordi Bermúdez (senior associate) and Cristina Encina (colaborator).
Edgar Jorba, CEO and cofounder of Aimentia explained on their social media that “Our aim is to democratize the access to innovative solutions to alleviate the burden mental health illnesses have in the most vulnerable parts of our society through smart tools powered by empirical evidence”.
Through their virtual clinic, Aimentia Health, they aim to prevent the risks of serious mental illness through an intelligent alert system. They currently screen and monitor 31,000 users in more than 120 schools.
