RIOU Glass acquires Vidresif Industrial: advisors
RIOU Glass have signed the acquisition of Vidresif Industrial, the second acquisition since its foundation in 1979. An acquisition within the Riou Glass Verre 2025 development plan.
Vidresif, with an annual turnover of 25 million euros and a workforce of 115 employees, becomes the second largest industrial site of the group’s 23 sites, behind RIOU Glass VIP, the historic factory based in Boulleville (Normandy).The acquisition of Vidresif will enable Riou Glass to penetrate the Spanish market, thus benefiting from the Girona-based company’s consolidated share of the domestic market, but also to strengthen its portfolio of high-performance technical glass in both the Spanish and French markets.
Gómez-Acebo and Pombo has advised Riou Glass. The team consisted of Almudena Arpón de Mendívil, Constantino Pérez, Sergio Gómez and Raúl López.
