Revolution in the ABG Intellectual Property partnership
ABG Intellectual Property, a Spanish firm specializing in intellectual property, has announced the appointment of ten new partners, expanding its partnership from six to sixteen. This strategic move involves the internal promotion of talented individuals from various departments across the Madrid, Barcelona, and Bilbao offices, who now step into the role of equity partners within the company.
“This promotion underscores our unwavering commitment to nurturing top-tier talent within our organization. The professional journeys of our newly appointed partners have flourished under the ABG IP banner, and their dedication has been instrumental in solidifying our firm’s esteemed position in the intellectual property landscape.” remarked Juan Arias, Managing Partner and Founder of ABG IP.
Among the promoted professionals are seven European Patent Attorneys specializing in various fields of science and technology: María Corral, Tomás Llamas, Iain McGeoch, Marta Rodríguez, Sofia Pettersson, André Santos, and Laura de la Vega. Additionally, Laura Montoya, Beatriz Ibáñez, and David Cortes have been appointed partners, serving as Heads of the Legal, Financial, and Human Resources Departments respectively.
“We recognize the pivotal role that technical expertise plays in our core mission of safeguarding intangible assets. Equally crucial is the strength of our legal and managerial teams, which drive our strategic growth and operational efficiency. By elevating the Heads of Human Resources and Financial Departments to partner status, we ensure a holistic approach to sustaining our competitive edge,” explained Arias.
