Restaurant Brands Iberia appoints new Iberian Legal director

Restaurant Brands Iberia has appointed América Pastor as its new Legal director for Spain and Portugal

This department integrates the exploitation rights as master franchisee for Spain and Portugal of the Burger King, Tim Hortons and Popeyes brands. Pastor, will be in charge of the planning, coordination and control of the legal activity of the three brands, which currently have more than 1,000 restaurants in both countries, both owned and franchised, of which more than half are owned by RB Iberia.

With a degree in Law and Political Science from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Pastor (pictured) completed part of her studies in Paris and Rio de Janeiro and is certified as a Compliance Officer from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. With extensive experience in Commercial Law (M&A, Corporate) and Real Estate, she began her professional career at Carrefour Property and Supersol and later joined EY Abogados.

“I am very excited about this project, and I aspire to implement a new vision of Legal advice, integrated and in favour of the business, in which, in addition to Legal support, we can get involved in all areas of the business and contribute to generating value within the company,” said the new Legal director.
