PwC Tax & Legal appoints Andrés Mochales as new Corporate partner
According to sources PwC Tax & Legal has appointed Andrés Mochales as partner in its Corporate Law department, further strengthening the firm’s transactional capabilities in Spain. The move comes as part of the firm’s broader strategy to bolster its advisory services in high-growth sectors.
Mochales joins PwC from A&O Shearman, where he held the position of senior associate. He brings extensive experience in advising corporates, private equity funds, and financial sponsors on a wide range of domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including acquisitions, co-investments, restructurings and reorganisations.
His sector expertise spans infrastructure, energy, aviation, TMT and healthcare. The appointment reflects the growing demand for complex corporate advice in these strategic areas.
Andrés Mochales holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) and an LLM from the University of York. At PwC Tax & Legal, he will join the team led by Joaquín Latorre to support the firm’s growing corporate practice.
