Pollen Street Capital acquires Hipoges from KKR: Advisors

Pollen Street Capital has announced the acquisition of Hipoges, a real estate and asset management platform in southern Europe, from KKR through Finsolutia, an independent credit and real estate management services technology platform.

The group will bring together more than 2,000 professionals and around €55 billion in assets under management, with teams in four countries and 11 cities, covering Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece.

Hipoges

Founded in 2008, Hipoges is an asset management platform with more than €50 billion in assets under management. Hugo Vélez and Claudio Panunzio are the founders and co-managing partners of Hipoges.

With a team of more than 1,800 people in Spain, Portugal, Greece and Italy, Hipoges supports leading financial institutions and international investors, offering comprehensive solutions throughout the investment cycle and managing a broad portfolio of credit and real estate assets.

Finsolutia

Founded in 2007 by Nuno Silva, Finsolutia has developed an integrated range of technology services across the credit and real estate value chain. The company currently has around 360 professionals and works with many institutional investors in the sector.

The transaction has not yet been completed and remains subject to the usual regulatory approvals.

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo advised Pollen Street Capital with a team led by Augusto Piñel together with Valentina Rodríguez, partner and counsel in the Commercial team. It also had the collaboration of, among others, Mafalda Barreto, Clara Rivero, Leonor Rocha, Sergio Gómez and Victor Villaverde, partner and associates of the Commercial team in the Madrid and Lisbon offices, and Remedios García, counsel of the Tax team in Madrid.
