PLMJ adds Martim Valente as senior counsel

PLMJ has reinforced European Law and Competition area with this hiring

PLMJ reinforces for the second time this year its European and Competition area with the integration of Martim Valente as senior counsel. 

Martim Valente has an international career with more than 15 years in the area of European Law and Competition, having worked for two leading firms in the area, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton (Brussels) and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (London), and for Google. Since 2016 he has held the position of Legal Director at the Competition and Markets Authority (London).

Valente has his Law degree at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa and has a Master’s degree in Law by the University of Chicago Law School.
