PLMJ assists Medialivre in acquiring Radio Festival and SBSR
PLMJ has advised Medialivre, owner of “Correio da Manhã” and the CMTV and Now channels, on the acquisition of Rádio SBSR and Rádio Festival, previously owned by the event promoter Música no Coração. In this transaction, Medialivre acquired 100% of the companies Sociedade Franco Portuguesa da Comunicação and Rádio Festival do Norte.
The Team Involved
The PLMJ team was led by Tomás Almeida Ribeiro, partner in the Corporate M&A area, and Rita Pereira Jardim, senior associate in the same area. The transaction also involved the collaboration of Pedro Lomba, coordinating partner in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications area; Rita de Sousa Costa, associate in the same area; and Carolina Campos Dias, senior associate in the Tax area, (all pictured) among others.
