PLMJ advises Incus Capital on joint venture with Europi
PLMJ has advised Incus Capital, an asset management advisory firm, on the acquisition of a stake in the Ecologis logistics platform and on the formation of a joint venture with Europi to expand the platform across Europe.
Launched in 2021, Ecologis currently comprises eight logistics assets in the metropolitan areas of Lisbon and Porto, totalling 140,000 square metres (with a further 20,000 square metres under construction), and tenants in the logistics, food distribution and e-commerce sectors.
The agreement provides for investment in the acquisition and development of high-quality logistics properties in Portugal and Spain, thereby strengthening the Ecologis platform’s presence in the Iberian market, according to PLMJ.
On PLMJ’s side, the transaction was led by Francisco Lino Dias (pictured), partner and co-head of the real estate and tourism practice, with support from the corporate M&A, capital markets and public law – urban planning teams.
