PLMJ advises Blackstone on €330m logistics portfolio acquisitions

PLMJ has advised the US asset manager Blackstone on two acquisitions of portfolios of logistics. They add up to a total investment of more than €330 million, with around 530 thousand square metres spread over 35 properties.

A multidisciplinary team from PLMJ was involved in advising on the transactions. Sofia Gomes da Costa (pictured), a partner in the firm’s real estate and tourism practice area, was assisted by Sérgio Antunes Teixeira and Fernando Costal Carinhas, coordinating associates from the same area.

These investments from Blackstone double its logistics portfolio in Portugal, which rises to more than 1000 square meters. The properties in question are rented to several distribution and retail companies, representing a clear bet from Blackstone in the logistics sector in Portugal, confirming the trend of strong demand for distribution centres.
