Khemia acquires stake in Aire Ancient Baths: advisors

Ontier has advised the family investments office Khemia on the acquisition of a minority stake in the Aire Ancient Baths group, a Spanish multinational in luxurious rituals, thermal baths and wellness centers. On this agreement, Khemia joins its shareholding structure as a minority partner to support its international expansion plan. The Aire Ancient Baths group was advised by Pinsent Masons.

The agreement enables Aire to strengthen its capital structure and accelerate its International Strategic Growth Plan, which includes the progressive opening of new centers in new markets across Europe and North America. Founded in 2001, the company currently operates 10 centers in 9 cities and employs more than 1,100 professionals.

The Pinsent Masons’ Madrid team was led by corporate/M&A partner Francisco Aldavero, assisted by Rocío García Nardiz, associate and Alejandro Mas Deudero, associate (all pictured from left to right, above).

The Ontier team involved in the transaction was composed of partner Víctor Artola, counsel Rafael Alonso, lawyer Blanca Fontán, associate Pablo Martínez Campos, and trainee Patricia Gómez (all pictured from left to right, below).
