Pinsent Masons advises Iberdrola on the sale of a portfolio of hydroelectric power plants in Spain
Pinsent Masons has advised Iberdrola on the sale of a portfolio of mini-hydroelectric power plants in Spain to Green Energy Platform (GEP), a platform owned by Renewable Power International and Cube Infrastructure Managers.
The portfolio comprises ten operational plants with a total installed capacity of 31 MW, distributed across the autonomous communities of La Rioja, Navarre, Castile-La Mancha and Castile and León. This sale is part of Iberdrola’s rotation of non-strategic assets.

The company operates across the entire energy value chain, including power generation, transmission, distribution and marketing, with a strong strategic focus on renewable energy, network infrastructure and customer-centric innovation.
