Personio Appoints Hugo Olaizola New Country Manager for Spain

Personio, the European company in HR software for small and medium-sized enterprises, has announced the appointment of Hugo Olaizola as the new Country Manager for Spain. In this role, Olaizola will lead and oversee the company’s operations in Spain, as well as support its product teams in developing market-leading solutions for HR leaders.

Hugo Olaizola brings over 15 years of experience in high-growth companies, having held various leadership positions in general management, sales, and strategy. His most recent role was as Director for Iberia and Latin America at CoachHub. He has also worked in dynamic and competitive environments in London, Dublin, and Madrid.

Olaizola’s experience includes roles such as Debt Origination and Multi-Product Solutions Manager at Banco Santander for a wide portfolio of companies in the UK and Team Leader for LinkedIn’s sales department. He has also held leadership positions at Wagestream, Europe’s largest employee platform, leading the Spanish market. Additionally, he founded two startups, Plate-Out and IntoScale, and authored and delivered a sales course for Crehana.
