Pérez-Llorca incorporates Cristina Duch as an Intellectual and Industrial Property partner
Pérez-Llorca has hired Cristina Duch, from Baker McKenzie, as a partner to strengthen the Intellectual and Industrial Property practice in its Barcelona office. Duch has more than 25 years of experience in providing strategic advice on trademarks, patents, copyrights, designs, unfair competition, advertising and trade secrets and know-how.

Prior to joining Pérez-Llorca, Cristina Duch has developed her career at Baker McKenzie for almost 20 years, where she has advised multinational and national companies in the management and protection of their intangible assets. Her experience covers key sectors such as fashion, luxury, cosmetics and fragrances, personal care, food and beverages, technology, consumer goods and internet, hospitality, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology and new energies.
In addition, he combines his technical expertise in the field of counseling and contracting with an outstanding litigation experience before national and EU courts and before national and European IP institutions.
Duch is an active member of leading international IP organizations such as the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the Spanish Group of AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Industrial Property), among others.

Cristina Duch, together with Pablo Hooper, Intellectual Property and Franchising partner of the firm’s Mexico City office, will offer a global cross-cutting service to all clients with interests in Europe and Latin America in the protection and defense of their intangible assets, as well as in the negotiation and litigation related to intellectual property rights in both markets.
With her arrival, the Litigation area is also expanded in complex matters, including trademarks and industrial designs, patents, trade secrets and new technologies, adding her experience to that of Eduardo Castillo, head of the practice in Europe.
