Pérez-Llorca hires Javier Bau

According to press rumors confirmed to Iberian Lawyer by the law firm, Pérez-Llorca has hired Javier Bau (pictured), partner of KPMG Abogados.

The lawyer will officially join Pérez-Llorca in mid-december.

Bau joined KPMG Abogados in 2018 from a Magic Circle firm, Allen & Overy where he was part of the founding team of the Barcelona office. Previously, he was part of the legal teams of  Deloitte Abogados and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

He has extensive experience in commercial and business law, especially in transactions (mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and investments – both inbound and outbound) and commercial contracts. Bau holds a law degree and a master’s degree in business law from ESADE.
