Pérez-Llorca achieved global pro forma revenues of more than €165 million over 2024. In Spain, revenues exceeded 133.6 million euros, an increase of around 8% compared to 2023.
In the words of Pedro Pérez-Llorca, managing partner of the firm: “2024 has been for Pérez-Llorca a key year in the history of the firm marked by a steady progress in our international expansion and a significant investment in innovation and technology. This growth not only strengthens our position in the market, but also prepares us to face new challenges in an increasingly dynamic legal, social and geopolitical environment. In 2025 we will continue to promote the international growth of the firm, betting on the best talent to provide the best service to our clients with the best technological tools.”
Results
The overall results represent an increase of 33% compared to the previous year, when its turnover stood at 124 million euros. These pro forma revenues include sales for the full year 2024 in Spain as well as in Portugal and Mexico, new markets for the company.
International business accounted for 20% of the firm’s total turnover in 2024. With these figures, pending the closing of the audit, Pérez-Llorca once again records record revenues and continues on its path of sustained growth. In the last decade (2015-2024), as explained from the firm, the firm has multiplied by 5 its sales, which means a growth of approximately 133 million euros in these ten years.
International strategy
Following the opening of the Portugal office at the end of 2023, where today around 45 professionals are already working, in July last year Pérez-Llorca closed the integration of the Mexican firm González Calvillo. The strong cultural ties between Mexico and Spain, as well as the high degree of integration between their business communities, make Mexico, according to a statement, a natural market for the firm to continue growing and developing.
The objective of this integration was to establish a leading legal practice in Mexico, specialized in large transactions, financings, transnational litigation and regulatory matters, offering a comprehensive service to both multinationals and financial sponsors on both sides of the Atlantic, as well as to other international law firms.
Following the completion of these two major milestones in Portugal and Mexico, Pérez-Llorca offers advice on Spanish, Portuguese, European and Mexican law from its offices in Barcelona, Brussels, Mexico City, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Monterrey, New York and Singapore.
New corporate governance
At the beginning of 2024, the firm expanded its management structure with the appointment of Julio Lujambio as executive partner and Iván Delgado as international executive partner. Along with Pedro Pérez-Llorca, who continues as managing partner, and Constanza Vergara, partner and COO of the firm,
In addition, during the past year the firm appointed an international partnership board. This body has 30 members, all of them partners, and includes representatives from Spain, Portugal and Mexico, taking care of the representation of territories, practices, generations and genders. Its functions are to promote the firm’s growth, ensure quality and commitment to service, preserve the firm’s culture and nurture talent, among others.
Innovation and leadership
Pérez-Llorca was the first Spanish law firm to integrate a second-generation generative artificial intelligence tool for the legal field, Legora (formerly known as Leya). This technological advance is a new reinforcement, as explained by the firm, to ensure the highest quality of advice.
