Pérez-Llorca announces its entry into the Colombian market by integrating with Gómez-Pinzón

Pérez-Llorca takes another step forward in its internationalization strategy after signing an integration agreement with the top Colombian law firm Gómez-Pinzón, which will provide an initial team of 120 lawyers in its Bogotá and Medellín offices.

This is the first time that a leading Colombian law firm is fully integrated, legally and economically, with a Latin American firm. The transaction is based on Gómez-Pinzón’s strong positioning and track record in the local market, and contemplates the incorporation of both its partners and all its professionals to the Pérez-Llorca structure. The integration is expected to be completed in the next few weeks after the approval of the governing bodies of both firms.

Advancement and consolidation of Pérez-Llorca’s international project

Pérez-Llorca takes another step forward in its internationalization strategy, led by Iván Delgado, International executive partner of Pérez-Llorca, consolidating a trajectory that in recent years has included key milestones such as the integration of the elite Mexican law firm González Calvillo, the establishment of the firm in Portugal and the strengthening of its presence in strategic financial and regulatory centers such as London, New York, Brussels and Singapore. This roadmap has had a direct impact on the firm’s results, which closed 2024 with a pro forma global turnover of 165.4 million euros, representing an increase of 33% over the previous year, with particularly outstanding growth in its business outside Spain, which already accounted for 20% of the Firm’s revenues in the last financial year.

The integration with the Mexican law firm González Calvillo was closed in 2024, marking Pérez-Llorca’s entry into the Mexican market, a key axis in the flow of investments between America, the United States and Europe.
