Pérez-Llorca advises GuideBridge on the acquisition of 100% of GAME Stores Iberia
Pérez-Llorca has advised GuideBridge, a private equity fund manager, in the acquisition of 100% of GAME Stores Iberia, a retail chain of video games and consoles in Spain, from the British group Frasers.
The transaction is still subject to the approval of the National Commission of Markets and Competition (CNMC) and is expected to close in the first quarter of the year.
The transaction does not imply any significant changes to GAME’s organizational structure, workforce or corporate identity. The acquisition does not include the Game UK business, which will continue to be owned by Frasers.
