Pérez-Llorca advises Dubai Holding Group on hotel acquisition
Pérez-Llorca has advised Dubai Holding on the acquisition of the Jumeirah Port Sóller Hotel & Spa, in Mallorca, previously owned by the German firm Deka Immobilien. The Dubai-based group was already managing the 121-room hotel under the Jumeirah brand.
Dubai Holding plans to invest in enhancing the hotel’s product offering, with the aim of positioning it as a flagship Jumeirah destination in the region. Dubai Holding Hospitality currently owns 34 hotels and resorts, including five Jumeirah properties in Europe.
The Pérez-Llorca team advising on the transaction comprised partner Fausto Romero-Miura, Javier Villanueva, Marcos Mata and Marta Cano (corporate and real estate); partner Alberto Ibort and Coloma Vives (land planning and environmental); and partner Ana Cremades and Borja Martínez (regulatory).
