Pérez-Llorca advises BMS Group on the acquisition of Rasher
Pérez-Llorca has advised BMS Group, the independent broker specializing in insurance and reinsurance, on the acquisition of insurance broker Rasher, subject to regulatory approvals. Rasher is headquartered in Spain and has Latin American subsidiaries in Colombia and Peru.
Rasher excels in surety, credit and risk management solutions for corporate clients. Its highly specialized team of 90 employees designs, implements and manages insurance programs and provides advisory and claims management services. Joining BMS Group, moreover, will enable Rasher to accelerate its expansion plans, continuing its successful growth strategy of recent years.
This acquisition expands BMS Group’s surety capabilities and strengthens its value proposition for global infrastructure and construction projects. It consolidates BMS Group as a leading specialist insurance and reinsurance broker in Iberia, with offices in Madrid, Seville, Cordoba, Valencia, Malaga, Granada and Pamplona, and expands its Latin American presence in Colombia and Peru.
