Pérez-Llorca adds Javier Blanco as tax partner in Barcelona
Pérez-Llorca has named Javier Blanco as a partner in its tax practice in Barcelona. He joins from BDO Abogados.
Blanco brings experience in tax advisory for large estates, family businesses, and national and international corporate groups, as well as private banking clients. His areas of specialisation include wealth planning and structuring, real estate investments, and corporate restructurings. He also serves as an associate professor on the Law degree programme at the Universidad Internacional de Cataluña.
Strategic focus
The hire is intended to deepen Pérez-Llorca’s Private Client practice from its Barcelona office, expanding the firm’s capacity to provide comprehensive advice on complex tax matters to both domestic and international clients, states Pérez-Llorca.
Tax partner Norma Peña i Bagés noted that Blanco’s market knowledge will add significant value to clients and to the firm’s growth in a key location such as Barcelona.
