Pbbr advises on major Parque Tejo logistics deal
Portuguese law firm Pbbr has advised Serris REIM on the acquisition process of a set of nine industrial and logistics warehouses located in Parque Tejo, in Póvoa de Santa Iria, Vila Franca de Xira, for the Venture Real Estate Fund. The warehouses have a total area of 18,000 square meters, a 12-meter ceiling height, leveled loading docks, and a large outdoor parking area. They are occupied by companies in the technology, industrial, and logistics sectors, including Nos, Electro Telecomunicações, XPO, Schréder, and Smith & Nephew.
“This transaction strengthens our position in the country, increasing our exposure to the industrial/logistics sector to a total of nearly 50,000 square meters,” said Francisco Seabra Ferreira, country head of Serris REIM in Portugal. According to him, the company expects to invest over 50 million euros this year for three different investment funds.
The pbbr team involved in the transaction was led by founding partner Pedro Pinto from the Real Estate department, with the participation of associated Isabel Brazão de Castro (head of the Real Estate practice area) and Mário Silva Costa (Tax partner). NewCycle was responsible for providing the technical advisory for the transaction.
