Patrícia Dias Mendes joins BMA as a counsel

Patrícia Dias Mendes has joined BMA – Baptista, Monteverde & Associados as counsel, bringing her expertise in business, corporate law, and M&A practices. She transitions from her own law firm, where she worked for nearly four years. Previously, she served as the general director of Fundação PLMJ for eight years and practiced law at PLMJ Law Firm for over 22 years.

About Patrícia Dias Mendes

Mendes completed her law degree at Universidade Lusíada in 1998 and has been a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2001. She holds several Post-Graduate Degrees, including in Consumer Law and Media Law (Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa), Corporate and Commercial Law (Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Católica Portuguesa), “Fundamentals of Mergers and Acquisitions” (Institute of Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances, Austria, 2008), and Culture and Cultural Heritage Law (Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa).

Her practice spans a wide range of areas, including business, commercial, and corporate law, M&A, consumer law, intellectual property law—particularly copyright in the Art & Law domain—social economy law, and cultural heritage law.
