Osborne Clarke appoints José Ramón Medina as partner
Osborne Clarke has promoted José Ramón Medina to partner as of January 1, reinforcing the team led by partner and head of the department in OC Spain Luis Castro.
José Ramón Medina
José Ramón is a specialist in public procurement, particularly in the field of health sciences and the healthcare sector. He has extensive experience advising national and foreign companies in their relationships with Spanish public entities.
He also has extensive experience in urban planning law, the environment and competition law, with special focus on all phases of public procurement, and in administrative and contentious-administrative litigation, and in transactions in regulated sectors, where he puts into practice his more than 15 years of experience.
His career as a lawyer began in 2007 at one of the most important Spanish law firms, where he worked in the urban planning and public law departments. In 2008, he joined a renowned international law firm in Madrid, as a senior associate in the Public Law Department, until April 2016, when he joined the Public, Regulatory and Competition Law Department of Osborne Clarke.
