Ortego & Cameno supports Queka in triple TMT acquisition deal
The private equity fund Queka Real Partners has completed its entry into the TMT sector, partnering with three businesses -Smartgroup, B2com, and Datos 101- to create B2group, a technology services company specializing in the telecommunications, cloud and cybersecurity space for SMEs.
The transaction marks Queka Real Partners’ entry into the telecommunications and technology services sector for small and medium-sized businesses, and represents the third investment from its second fund, Queka RP PEF 2, with committed investment of €194 million.
The creation of B2group represents a strategic move by Queka and the management teams of the three businesses to address an attractive opportunity within the fragmented SME market. By bringing together complementary capabilities across telecom infrastructure, cybersecurity and cloud, B2group will offer its services under a single, customer-centric structure.
