ONTIER has hired Esteban Cuyás to strengthen its Banking & Finance practice in Madrid, joining from King & Wood Mallesons
Esteban Cuyás (pictured) is a Law graduate from ESADE Business and Law School, and holds a Master´s degree in Business Law from the same institution. He started as a Legal trainee at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo and Clifford Chance, and he spent some time preparing for the Notary Public competition exam, after which he took an LLM in Corporate, Banking & Finance at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he was graded cum laude. He then spent six months as a clinician at Loyola University Chicago Business Law Center representing for-profit and not-for-profit clients in the Chicagoland area in business-related transactional matters.
His professional practice includes being a Banking & Finance and Real Estate associate at Cases & Lacambra, where he also was a foreign associate in the firm´s Miami office. In 2020 he joined King & Wood Mallesons as a Banking & Finance lawyer, from where he now joins ONTIER in Madrid.
Esteban has also been a Legal researcher at Universidad Centroamericana (UCA) of El Salvador about the Salvadoran Limited Liability Individual Entrepreneur. He is a regular contributor and author on Financing and Real Estate matters in several publications and media.
