Ontier integrates the Chilean firm Matthei
Ontier has announced the integration of Matthei Abogados, a highly respected Chilean law firm specializing in tax law, into its Chilean operations. This strategic move, the firm explains, marks a “clear commitment to making Chile a key country in Ontier’s growth strategy across the region, and represents a significant leap forward in its local footprint—doubling its size and reinforcing its position in Ibero-America.
With the integration, Ontier Chile welcomes a team of 12 professionals with over 14 years of experience advising both local and multinational companies on complex tax matters.
The deal is part of the firm’s broader inorganic growth strategy, which focuses on expanding its presence in key markets through selective integrations.
The newly formed Tax Law practice at Ontier Chile will be led by Roger and Roland Matthei, renowned for their expertise in tax planning, complex corporate structures, and high-profile tax litigation.
