Ontier incorporates Gonzalo Navarro as director of regulatory finance

Ontier has strengthened its finance and banking practices with the appointment of Gonzalo Navarro Ruiz as head of the regulatory finance area. He was previously the legal and compliance director of Portfolio Stock Exchange.

With more than 12 years of experience in financial regulation, securities markets and expertise in areas such as Blockchain, Gonzalo Navarro Ruiz joins Ontier Spain as director of regulatory finance. Most recently, he was the Legal and Compliance director of ‘Portfolio Stock Exchange’ for three years, and was responsible for obtaining regulatory clearance from the National Securities Market Commission for the company. Previously, he was a member for more than nine years of the legal department of the BME Group, and manager of infrastructure and regulated securities markets in Spain.

Education

PhD in Law, Summa Cum Laude and Bachelor in ADE from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Executive MBA from IE Business School and Master in Corporate Legal Counsel from IE Law School, Gonzalo is an active advocate of education, sharing his knowledge as a professor at IE Law School and IE University and contributing to the legal literature, with published articles on Blockchain and securities markets.
