NORGESTION advises Embutidos La Hoguera on Navarran group integration

The Benito Jiménez’s Navarran business group, owner of Congelados de Navarra, Precocinados Frisa, Cárnicas Galar and New Tastia, has taken a strategic step forward in consolidating its Meat Division by incorporating two benchmark companies in the sector: Embutidos La Hoguera and Embutidos Solà.

Embutidos La Hoguera, headquartered in San Pedro Manrique (Soria), specializes in the production of hams, loins, chorizos, and torreznos. The company has an annual turnover of approximately €50 million and a workforce of 124 employees.

Embutidos Solà, based in La Plana de Vic (Barcelona), brings over 200 years of tradition in producing cured meats, particularly espetec, fuet, salchichón, and salamis. The company generates €20 million in annual revenue and employs around 80 people.

These acquisitions are part of a broader growth strategy aimed at, in the words of Benito Jiménez, “building a competitive meat group by strengthening the production capacities of the companies, leveraging synergies, expanding the product range, and responding effectively to new market challenges.”

Both Embutidos La Hoguera and Embutidos Solà will retain their current teams and continue to operate under the Group’s philosophy of sustainable growth, commitment to quality, and technological innovation. The companies share a strong tradition, a constant focus on excellence in their processes, and a vision aligned with the values of the Navarra-based Group.

Throughout the acquisition process, the Group was advised by Deloitte and Agnia. NORGESTION provided financial and legal advisory services to the owners of Embutidos La Hoguera, with Marta Vera and Edith Astudillo handling financial matters, and Jon Ander Munduate (pictured left) and Inés Uriarte (pictured right) providing legal counsel. ABL & New York Associates advised the owners of Embutidos Solà.
