NLP launches intellectual property literacy project
NLP has announced the launch of a new project using AI, “IntellectuALL”, aimed to promote intellectual property literacy as the firm marks its first year of activity. The project features an ultra-realistic avatar developed with AI, created by the Lexstream team.
“Intellectual property is much more than a legal issue—it is a key driver of business growth, innovation, and competitiveness. With this conviction and to celebrate its first anniversary, NLP has just launched IntellectuALL, an initiative designed to make IP literacy more accessible to everyone involved in developing ideas and businesses, using artificial intelligence tools”, states the firm.
The starting point is a set of quick, real-life Q&As based on situations many companies face. According to NLP’s partners, “We want to break down concepts, clarify common doubts, raise awareness of unexpected risks, and help companies identify opportunities in key areas of intellectual property.”
The IA developed avatar, Hedy, is the protagonist. “She” is portrayed as a lawyer, inventor, and endlessly curious figure—created to explain concepts and translate legal and technical topics into clearer, more engaging, and accessible language.
The project was developed in partnership with Lexstream as the tech partner and is integrated into NLP’s website, built by Softway. Francisco de Abreu Duarte, CEO of Lexstream, stated: “This project was a particularly special challenge for Lexstream. IntellectuALL also reflects our vision for the future of legal education: more accessible, dynamic, and always available—using AI tools to improve access to education without ever replacing or undermining human knowledge.”
According to NLP, by promoting IP literacy, the goal is to empower entrepreneurs, creators, and companies to protect their assets and make more informed decisions. “This is just the first phase of an ongoing project committed to strengthening a more aware, resilient, and future-ready innovation ecosystem”, states the law firm.
