New Legal Director of Pinsent Masons’ Energy team
Marta Salazar (pictured) has been promoted to Legal Director of Pinsent Masons’ Energy team in Spain since May 1st 2022. Salazar joined the Firm in 2018 from Baker McKenzie’s Public Law and Infrastructure team in Spain.
The new Director holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration and Management (ADE) from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) and a Master in Investments in the Energy Sector from the Instituto de Empresa (IE). She is also a professor in Public Law practices in the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession at the University of Navarra.
Marta Salazar has extensive experience in the field of renewable energies, accompanying clients in all phases of the project from the early stages of development to its subsequent construction and operation, including the transactional and contractual phase. During this year, the Legal500 directory has recognised Salazar as a “Rising Star” in the categories “Projects & Energy” and “Public Law”.
