New corporate & M&A partner at Andersen Lisbon: Inês Pinto da Costa

Andersen Iberia has hired attorney Inês Pinto da Costa as a partner in the Corporate and M&A practice at the Lisbon office. Inês joins from PLMJ, where she spent the last 14 years. “Her addition strengthens this practice area within the firm, particularly in private equity transactions, a key sector for Andersen’s expansion in Portugal as well as for consolidating the firm’s strategy in the Iberian market in Corporate and M&A”, Andersen said in a statement.

About Inês Pinto da Costa

Specialized in M&A, project finance, and private equity transactions, Inês Pinto da Costa holds a law degree from the Portuguese Catholic University and an Executive Master’s in Management for Lawyers from the same institution, along with postgraduate studies in Securities Law and International Commercial Law from the Faculty of Law at the University of Lisbon. With over 20 years of professional experience, she began her career at Uría Menéndez in Madrid, later joining their Portuguese office. She was an associate attorney at Albuquerque & Associados, and in 2009, she joined PLMJ as a senior associate, becoming a partner in 2016.
