Multidisciplinarity: kgsa integrates AI specialist
kgsa has announced its evolution into a multidisciplinary firm with the integration of Gonçalo Faria Abreu — an artificial intelligence engineer and founder of a well-known proptech company with over 50,000 clients. Over the next six months, the Portuguese law firm plans to launch a new consulting line aimed at supporting digital transformation and the development of innovative business models for its clients. Gonçalo Faria Abreu joins as a strategic advisor to the management team, bringing his experience in leading scalable tech projects.
By the end of the year, and as part of this strategy, kgsa will operate with two business areas — legal services and strategic consulting — which will mutually reinforce one another through the internal transfer of skills and knowledge. The firm aims to become a “one-stop shop” with a systemic approach to advising companies in a context of rapid technological change.
“There has never been technology without law, and now there is no law without technology. Integrating a profile like Gonçalo’s was only possible because we have a clear vision of the added value for the future of legal practice”, says Gonçalo Simões de Almeida, co-managing partner. “Bringing together two professions focused on solving problems — law and engineering — is the foundation of winning strategies. I’m excited to scale this vision from within KGSA,“ adds Gonçalo Faria Abreu.
