Morais Leitão guides NOS in €152M Claranet acquisition
Morais Leitão advised NOS on the agreement to acquire 100% of the share capital of Claranet Portugal, a leading technology company specializing in the modernization and management of critical applications and infrastructure, for €152 million. The completion of the transaction is subject to approval by the Competition Authority.
The multidisciplinary team from Morais Leitão was led by partners Jorge Simões Cortez and Gonçalo Fleming (both pictured), with collaboration from, among others, Catarina Brito Ferreira, Ana Isabel Seabra, Inês Magalhães Correia, and Maria Cortes Martins (corporate), Vasco Stilwell de Andrade (IP), and Joaquim Vieira Peres, Philipp Melcher, and Dzhamil Oda (competition).
