Morais Leitão advises Sonae on retail sale & leaseback

Morais Leitão has advised Sonae MC on the sale and leaseback of four food retail assets

Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados advised Sonae MC, a subsidiary company of Sonae Group with retail brands as Continente, on the sale and subsequent lease of four food retail assets located in Portugal.

This operation totalised €34 million and put the holding level of Sonae’s retail assets at 41% (freehold).
