Morais Leitão advises on Advanced Cylone Systems sale
Morais Leitão advised on the sale of 100% of the share capital of Advanced Cyclone Systems (ACS) to the Swedish group Sunds Fibertech Group. Founded in 2008 by Romualdo Salcedo (CTO) and Pedro Araújo (CEO), ACS is a company exclusively focused on the development and commercialisation of cyclone systems worldwide.
Morais Leitão acted for ACS, while the buyer, Sunds Fibertech Group AB, was advised by António Frutuoso de Melo e Associados (AFMA), with support from Nazaré, Lima, Piriquito Santos & Associados (NPL) on intellectual property matters.
The multidisciplinary Morais Leitão team advising on the transaction was led by partner Jorge Simões Cortez (pictured) and senior associate Sofia Cerqueira Serra (corporate and commercial), with the collaboration of partners José Amorim Magalhães (employment) and Maria Gouveia (tax), as well as associate Tiago Ribeiro dos Santos (corporate and commercial).
On Sunds Fibertech Group AB’s side, the operation was advised by partners Sofia Belard and Guilherme Frutuoso de Melo.
