Morais Leitão advises Lufthansa Technik in Portugal
Morais Leitão is advising Lufthansa Technik on a project to set up an aircraft engine and component repair facility in Santa Maria da Feira. This is a major investment that is expected to create 700 jobs, with production scheduled to start at the end of 2027.
The process began with the signing of a contract for the purchase of a 230,000 square metre plot in the Lusopark industrial park in Santa Maria da Feira, which will allow Lufthansa Technik to set up its first factory in Portugal. The project is being overseen by an extensive team from M&A, corporate real estate, employment, competition, urban planning, public law and construction.
