Morais Leitão advises Dstelecom on refinancing €350M debt
Morais Leitão advised Dstelecom on the refinancing of its debt and financing the growth of the group, for a total amount of up to €350 million. This refinancing allowed Dstelecom to take advantage of current market conditions to improve the terms of existing debt and, at the same time, increase the funds available to finance the investment planned for the coming years, states the law firm.
Dstelecom is a Portuguese operator of a fiber optic network in the country’s less densely populated areas. The company aims to enable all telecommunications operators to provide their customers with any communications, TV and internet access service available on the market.
The multidisciplinary team responsible for providing legal advice to Dstelecom was led by partner Maria Soares do Lago (pictured), and also included partners Tomás Vaz Pinto and Nuno Peres Alves, as well as lawyers Anna Zemskaia, Joana Duro and Sofia Monge de Araújo, with the participation of trainee lawyer Ana Patrícia Magalhães.
