Montero Aramburu & Gómez-Villares Atencia advises on Solar Portfolio Acquisition
Montero Aramburu & Gómez-Villares Atencia has advised AltamarCAM Partners, a global asset manager specializing in private market investments, alongside a consortium comprising Real Asset Investment Management, Access Capital Partners, and Brookfield Asset Management, on the multi-jurisdictional acquisition of a rooftop solar portfolio from Atrato Onsite Energy.
The portfolio includes 51 solar projects with a combined capacity of 204MW across 14 offtakers. Fully operational, 93% of the portfolio’s annual revenue is secured through power purchase agreements or subsidies, while 91% of the annual revenue is indexed to inflation or subject to fixed increases. The portfolio has an average remaining term of 14 years. As part of the transaction, the consortium has agreed to automatically transition certain employees from the current investment advisor, Atrato Group.
