Montero Aramburu advises on the sale of Eks Energy

Montero Aramburu has advised on the sale of Eks Energy to the US group Powin to the sevillian Green Power Technologie, which closed 2021 with a turnover of €45m and expects to reach €180m in 2025. It will also invest €12m over three years to create its new headquarters in Sevilla and double the workforce.

Eks Energy is a company specialised in the development of power electronic devices that uses the latest technology to bring new solutions to the photovoltaic, wind and energy sectors. It is currently present on five continents, either through offices or through projects in which the company has collaborated.

The Montero Aramburu’s team advising on this deal was led by Maite Cerezo Montañez (pictured) and Ana Beatriz Gamero Díaz de Lope Díaz, partner and director, respectively, of the commercial law department.
